MISSION OF OIG
To investigate civil and criminal fraud and abuse
regarding Tennessee health care programs.
To furnish information to acquaint the public with the fraud and abuse
laws pertaining to health care in Tennessee.
To cooperate with any city, county, state, or federal
agency in order to effectuate the Office of Inspector General’s goals, mission, and duties.
To assist in the criminal prosecution of individuals
and the civil recovery of funds that are a result of health care fraud
and abuse.
